STREBEN: Writing begins for second full-length -06.01.10

Italian act Streben has posted the following update:

Greetings everybody.
There are some news for those of you who may be interested. It's been a while since I started the song-writing process for Streben's second album, and, being not very satisfied with the final result for “Wild Enchanted Gardens”, I thought I had better inform you that next release (which will be entitled “Hyperuranium”) will be very different. Both in terms of production (I started studying as a sound engineer, so I'm likely to take care of this aspect, too, this time around), and sound (there have been several changes lately, including our skills as "musicians", which obviously developed, but also my personal taste in music, as it has considerably widened over the years).

It may take a while, because, this time around, I really want to do something I'll be very satisfied with for a long time. A guest bass player is probably going to record the bass lines for this second album; I'd do that myself again, but I need a slightly different approach with bass this time, to fit the new sound better.

That's all for now. A special thanks to all of our sincere supporters, friends and whatever, see you very soon.
Yours
C.
